If you are looking to build, renovate or extend, here are some commonly asked questions about the building process.

Will I be guided through the process?

Yes. You will be guided by Joe who is experienced in the building process and will be your point of contact to ensure that you are fully informed and consulted every step of the way.

Do you guys do everything?

Yes. We provide an all-inclusive design and build service tailored to your requirements, including:

  • Developing your design brief

  • Analysing your site

  • Engineering design and certification

  • Energy efficiency and BAL compliance

  • Shire and Building approvals

  • Working drawings and documentation

  • Specifications, material selections and products to be used

  • Construction of new homes, renovations, extensions and restorations including; cabinetry, splashbacks, appliances, lighting, electrics, plumbing including gas, ceilings, cornices, painting, shower screens, mirrors, tiles, tapware, baths, basins, handles and accessories, concrete footings and slabs, drains and stormwater, brickwork, timber and metal framing, door frames, doors, carpentry, windows, roof framing, roof beams, roof cover, insulation, aircon, alarms, plaster, weatherboard cladding, panelling, glazing, downpipes, gutters, gyprock, balustrade, stairs, fixing carpentry, garage doors, timber floors, carpet, paving, decking, fencing, landscaping. No job is too small.

How much deposit will I need?

We require a 6.5% deposit at time of booking (contract). Please note that preliminary costs for design and engineering, etc (if required) will be charged separately and are not included in the Deposit.

How much will it cost?

The costs to build, renovate or extend varies from project to project. 
For peace of mind we offer a FIXED PRICE contract and a complete specification document. This ensures there are no surprises, no hidden extras and no need to worry about cost overruns.

Can I remain in my home when renovating or extending?

Yes. If you own a single bathroom home and it is being renovated we can discuss options such as making a temporary shower and toilet available to you. If required we can erect temporary walls to separate living areas from construction areas. For large scale renovations, we may recommend you stay elsewhere during the renovation as it’s no fun living in a construction site. 

Are you qualified to carry out my new build, renovation or extension?

Yes. We are registered Builders (Registration no 12173) with over 20 years experience in the construction industry.
